CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities are searching for a missing elderly woman who was last seen on Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, 84-year-old Joan McDowell was last seen when she left the doctors office around 9 a.m. The office is located on Stone Bridge Parkway in Woodstock.
McDowell is described as about 5'4 and around 130 pounds. She was last reported wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt. She has short grey hair and wears glasses.
