DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- DeKalb County has named Overtis Brantley their interim County Attorney.
Brantley comes to DeKalb County from Fulton County and the City of Atlanta. According to the county, she served as Chief Legal Counsel for Fulton County for eight years and as Associate to Acting City Attorney for the City of Atlanta.
"O.V. has a distinguished and extensive background in local government law, and I am honored to have her as our Chief Legal Officer during the search for permanent legal counsel," says DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis.
Brantley's first day was March 18.
