STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- The Henry County Police Department has reported that Julia Palmer was once again faound safe and sound.
On Tuesday afternoon, Henry County police found her in nearby woods.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, Sgt. Joes Smith said Palmer was waiting to catch the bus to school around 7:30 a.m. When she did not show up at school, faculty became concerned, as she went missing just days ago.
Smith said Palmer's mother was working a new job at the time when the teen left home. She was believed to be on foot when she was reported missing.
Palmer was without a G.P.S. device and had no cell phone. She suffers from Asperger's syndrome.
The teen was last seen wearing a purple short-sleeved sweater, jeans and Airwalk sneakers. She is 5 foot, 3 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. Her hair is dark with red highlights.
