The star, referred to as "Mrs. Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon" in the arrest report, issued a statement apologizing for her behavior during the brouhaha which resulted in her being handcuffed and arrested along with hubby Jim Toth.
Reese managed a smile, and rocked a short black Yves Saint Laurent dress with matching heels, but she didn't say anything. Toth was with her.
A hearing in Witherspoon's case is set for today in Atlanta, reports AP. Reese isn't required to show up for it.
Mud hits theaters on Friday.
