McDONOUGH, GA -- The missing 2-year-old Henry County boy was found safe and sound in a neighbor's apartment Monday afternoon.
Police said Amari Mason Andrews had been missing since 11 a.m. Monday.
They said the apartment's resident had left the home to run som errands, and came home to find the crying child.
Authorities had cordoned off a McDonough apartment complex and areas around it during a wide search Monday afternoon.
11Alive Skycam images showed the boy being held by rescue personnel and being reunited with his mother. Police said the boy's parents do not wish to speak with the press, but are happy for his safe return.
