COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- Cobb County Police signaled an "all-clear" around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon after they determined a package they believed to be explosive was safe.
Authorities were called to the AT&T store on Cobb Parkway in response to a disgruntled customer who told employees he had a bomb.
Officers arrived at the scene, made contact with the suspect and took him into custody without incident.
The Cobb County Bomb Squad evacuated the roadway and nearby business as a precaution while crew members rendered the item safe.
The suspect was taken to be questioned. No charges have been filed at this time. This incident is under investigation.
