ALBANY, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities in south Georgia say a woman has been arrested for repeatedly calling paramedics when she needed a ride.
Police say 27-year-old Ashley Nicole Jones was arrested for calling an ambulance for a ride Monday and has done so at least 15 times since January. The woman is charged with requesting EMS services when not needed.
Authorities say the woman has made 10 calls for an ambulance in May and has a history of being taken to an emergency room only to walk away without actually seeing a doctor.
It's unclear if Jones has an attorney.
