CUMMING, Ga. -- A man wanted by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office for absconding from the county during his trial was arrested in California on Friday.
Marcus S. Tillman, 42, was standing trail in Forsyth County in 2009 for charges of child molestation and child cruelty when he failed to appear to court on Feb. 27, 2009. He was located in a coffee shop in San Francisco and taken into custody on June 14.
The U.S. Marshal's Service was tipped off to Tillman's whereabouts after to the television show, "America's Most Wanted" received information that he was in the Californian city.
