The scene outside Grady High School after a shooting in Feb. 2013
ATLANTA -- This coming school year every middle school and high school in Atlanta, will have an Atlanta Police Department officer patrolling its campus.
It was just approved by the school board last week.
55 officers will head to the 34 middle and high schools. This decision was made after two shootings at Atlanta area schools this past year, one at Grady, where a student shot herself in the leg.
The other where a student at Price Middle School was shot in the neck.
