WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Cherokee County Sheriff's deputies have been searching for a missing woman since 9:30 p.m. Monday.
Starla Holloway Triplett's boyfriend told deputies the couple was arguing in a car at the entrance of the Taylors Farm subdivision. He said the 25-year-old Canton woman cut her wrist and fled into nearby woods.
Lt. Jay Baker with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office said because of the small amount of blood found at the scene, deputies do not believe Triplett's wounds are life threatening. Baker says the woman also has active misdemeanor warrants for her arrest for failure to appear.
Several agencies have been searching for the woman using tracking dogs as well as a helicopter.
Anyone who sees Triplett is asked to call 911.
