(WXIA) -- New studies show what researchers say is statistical evidence that the rudest drivers are behind the wheel of a BMW.
The research was done at the University of California and in the UK. The findings were also reported by The New York Times.
Researchers surveyed around 3,000 drivers. They found the drivers of fancier, luxury vehicles were far less likely to stop for a pedestrian who had just entered a crosswalk. None of the cars, which some call "beaters" drove through the crosswalk.
