(WXIA) -- Procter & Gamble has recalled nearly 30 types of dry cat and dog foods because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.
The company announced the voluntary recall last week. It affects roughly 0.1 percent of annual pet food production.
No salmonella-related illnesses have been reported yet. Procter & Gamble said signs of salmonella infection in pets include lethargy, diarrhea, fever and vomiting.
