KENNESAW, Ga. -- Authorities are on the scene of a train accident in Kennesaw.
The incident happened near Main Street and Cherokee Street Friday afternoon.
According to police, a woman's car got stuck between both arms of a level crossing when she was hit. The unidentified woman was reportedly struck by a CSX train.
She was transported to Kennestone Hospital for observation.
Scott Luther of the Kennesaw Police Department said the woman is considered a "miracle woman" because "only a handful of people can walkaway unscathed after being hit by a train."
No further information was immediately released.
