(WXIA) -- Chobani has issued a memo stating that it is pulling a number of cups off grocery shelves.
According to the New Berlin, N.Y.-based yogurt maker, a mold commonly found in dairy is causing affected cups to swell or bloat.
Chobani did not recall the yogurt, but said it will pull cups with the code 16-012 and expiration dates between Sept. 11, 2013 and Oct. 7, 2013.
The company said less than five percent of its production is affected by the mold.
Customers who purchased affected cups are asked to contact Chobani's Customer Loyalty Team for replacements.
