(WXIA) -- President Obama will meet with the mayor of Kuwait at the White House on Friday.
Kuwait supports potential U.S. military action against Syria. Meantime, the Secretary of State John Kerry continues meetings in Geneva with the Russian foreign minister on Moscow's plan for Syria to surrender its chemical weapons.

On Thursday, Syria's UN Ambassador announced his country became a full member of the global anti-chemical weapons treaty. Secretary Kerry warns U.S. military force is still very much on the table if diplomacy fails. He says it's not a game.
