BOSTON, Mass. -- Three friends of accused Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be arraigned in Boston on Friday in U.S. District Court.
Two of the friends, Azamat Tazhavakov and Dias Kadvrbavev are accused of hindering the investigation of the bombing by taking a backpack and laptop from Tsarneav's dorm room after the incident.
Both men were indicted on federal charges of conspiracy to obstruct justice on August 9 and were initially charge in May.
The attorneys of the accused said their clients did not intend to do anything wrong, and that they knew nothing of the bombing plans when they took the evidence.
The third friend, Robel Phillipos is accused of lying about it. He was too indicted in August on two counts of lying to authorities.
