WASHINGTON (AP) - Friday morning may bring details on whether late night talks have brought the opposing sides any closer to ending the congressional stalemate.
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor said after a 90-minute White House meeting between the president and GOP leaders that there would be conversations into the night. The shutdown is in its eleventh day Friday.
And the administration has warned that the government will default unless the borrowing limit is raised by Thursday.
