ATLANTA -- Old Fourth Distillery says they will be launching a Kickstarter campaign "within a week."
The distillery, a project of brothers Craig and Jeff Moore, received federal approval for the distillery on August 12. The pair have leased 3,000 square feet of space at 437 Edgewood Avenue and are planning to invest around $850,000 to launch the distillery which could open in April or May of 2014.

According to Scoutmob, the company has begun the build-out of the space in a historic building on Edgewood procured a 1,200 gallon tank and have the construction of their still underway. They are reaching out to Atlantans to close the final gap in the funding for the distillery which will initially produce vodka and gin and later expand to whiskey and rye.
