STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - Several different downtown Stone Mountain business owners want to know why their buildings were shot dozens of times early Sunday morning. Someone with a pellet gun fired at a convenience store, City Hall, a martial arts school and a restaurant.
"I thought we the ones that were targeted, I took it personally," said William Dawson of William's Philly Style. Then he found out others were hit. "We're lucky it didn't hurt anyone, that's the best part about it."
Stone Mountain police are looking through surveillance video at the businesses to see if they can spot a vehicle. The business owners are stuck with hundreds of dollars in glass repair bills.
"Before I became a Christian, Id probably want to hit them or something like that," said Christian Sports Youth Academy owner Walter Maddox. "But I forgive them."
