MEXICO CITY (AP) -- Authorities in Mexico say the thieves who stole a shipment of radioactive cobalt-60 could be in grave danger of dying within days.
The material was being trucked from a hospital to a waste facility when robbers took the vehicle from a driver at a gas station in central Mexico.
The highly radioactive material was removed from its container. It was recovered in a rural area.
