TUCKER, Ga. -- The DeKalb County Police Department's Narcotics Unit says they have netted recovery of drugs with an approximate street value of $128 million over the course of several operations.

The drugs seized include methamphetamine, powdered cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana. Detectives said they also seized weapons and vehicles in connection with the operations.
A total of 989 arrests were made in conjunction with investigations conducted by the specialized 30-person unit.
Members of the Narcotics Department, Deputy Chief Operating Officer Cedric Alexander and interim Police Chief James Conroy hosted a briefing to display some of the items confiscated at a presentation riday.
