(WXIA) -- Even though the Winter Olympics will be held in Sochi, Russia, a little bit of the Olympic spirit was in Atlanta Friday afternoon.
Three-time U.S. Olympic skier Picabo Street was in town to speak with Citi employees about her Olympic journey, providing insight on what it took to compete on the Olympic level.

Street is a two-time Olympic medalist. She won the gold medal in the Super-G during the Nagano Games in 1998 and won the silver medal in Downhill skiing during the 1994 Games in Lillehammer.
Her last Olympic appearance was in 2002 during the Salt Lake City games.
Street, along with nine other U.S. Olympians and Paralympians, is participating in the Citi "Every Step of the Way" program, which helps U.S. Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls of all ages in communities across America reach their goals of competing at the highest level.
More than $500,000 has been donated to the program, $50,000 of which directed towards Street's "Stay on the Slopes" initiative.
