ATLANTA, Ga. -- They don't even know who she is, but hundreds of people are coming together to help a young girl seriously injured in Atlanta's snowstorm this week. A 13-year-old girl was trying to push her mother's car out of the snow, when another car slammed in to her severing her left leg. Now the founders of a Facebook group to support her say they want to do whatever they can to help her.
"I don't have a car, so I can't go out and pull people out of the ditches, and help on the highways, so what can I do," said Marlon Wade.

He knew he wanted to get involved with the relief effort in Atlanta after Tuesday's storm, but wasn't sure how... until he heard the news of the horrific crash that severed the leg of a 13 year old girl.
"When I saw this, it struck my heart, like, this little girl needs help.
So he started the Facebook group: Snowstorm Survivor.
He said the reaction was immediate.
"She's such a young lady, so anytime a child gets hurt it really pulls at people's hearts. And then that she did it while she was helping her mother," he said.
Wade got in touch with the Georgia Prosthetic company and they agreed to donate a prosthesis for the young girl if she needs it.
"That blew my mind that they were so eager to get a prosthetic for this young lady," he said.
Doctors are still trying to reattach the young woman's leg, but Wade says the group is ready to support the family however they need.
"A few people have offered to cook for the family, money for lost wages, insurance," he said.
Wade has not spoken with the young girl's family yet as they recover from the tragedy, but say her friends and family know about the page, and are grateful so many people care about their little girl.
"Cousins, grandparents, they say they really appreciate everything, and once they have time to settle down and get things straight, they'll get in touch with us," he said.
