STOCKBRIDGE - Police say a 47-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning when her car wrecked on I-75 near the Hampton exit.

According to Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton, the woman's Ford Explorer was southbound on I-75 when it left the expressway and struck a tree. Police think a rear tire blew out causing the driver to lose control.

Two southbound lanes of I-75 were closed from 8:30 to 10 am.

The woman's name has not been released.
