
ATLANTA -- A lot of events happening around Metro Atlanta this weekend.
Events:
The 18th Annual Marietta Street Fest takes over the Square Saturday.
Fiesta Georgia happens Saturday at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers kicks off the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration. The free, day long celebration features the best of the Latino culture, music, and food. And contrary to popular perception, the event is bilingual.
The Gwinnett County Fair runs into its first weekend.
For Sisters Only is a two-day event this weekend featuring live A-List performers and unique shopping among other activities. It takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Japanese culture is celebrated this weekend at the Gwinnett Convention Center with JapanFest. Admission is $8 per person.
Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover LIVE! comes to the Atlanta Civic Center on Saturday. Also at the Civic Center and held over through this weekend is the America I Am exhibit.
Piedmont Park will be hopping with a Clean & Green and Green Market.
The Atlantic Station Market takes place Saturday and Sunday.
Six Flags salutes the U.S. Air Force on Saturday and the Navy and Coast Guard on Sunday. Current members of each respective branch of the military will receive discounted admission for those respective days.
Zoo Atlanta will be busy with Pandamonium! Giant Panda Birthday Celebration and the SPARKS Science Fair.

Journey takes over the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre Saturday.
The Indigo Girls take over Chastain Park Amphitheatre Saturday.
Seasame Street Live presents Elmos Green Thumb at Philips Arena this weekend.
The Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards comes to the Georgia World Congress Center Saturday.
The Color Purple goes into its first weekend at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
The Twilight Theatre presents Annie Get Your Gun at the Fred on Saturday at 8 p.m.
The musical tale that is Smoke on the Mountain hits the Mable House Amphitheatre this weekend.
Wisin Y Yandel performs Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Gwinnett Arena.
Hal Sparks comes to the Vortex Comedy Club for several performances this weekend.
The Punchline brings Nick DiPaolo to their stage Saturday and the Jerry Farber Experience on Sunday.
Yo La Tengo takes the stage at Variety Playhouse Saturday.
Unplugged In The Park this Sunday is with the Joe Purdy, Levi Lowrey, & Jennifer Daniels starting at 7 p.m. at Park Tavern.
Come Fly With Me takes to the Alliance Stage this weekend as STIR hits Richard H. Rich Theatre on Saturday. Check the Woodruff Center website for full details.
In sports:
Folks will be flocking to the Georgia Dome Sunday as the Atlanta Falcons host the Carolina Panthers.
The Atlanta Braves host the Phillies in a weekend series. Friday night, as always is Fireworks Night, but this weekend it also is Hispanic Heritage Night. Saturday is Breast Cancer Awareness Night and Sunday you can meet alumni Gene Garber. Check the Braves website as there are concerts schedule after each night game.
The Motorsport Nationals 2009 Super Show is Saturday and Sunday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Truckloads of show cars, a massive burn out contest, industry vendors and booths, music, drifting demos, and classes. Hot Rods, Classics, Exotics, Motorcycles, Trucks and more.
