Unique Eats: Little Szechuan

Doraville, GA -- At Little Szechuan, the food is fantastic and the owner makes you feel like family.

Kong Ko treats everyone like a special customer.

In fact, one of the walls in the restaurant on Buford Highway in Doraville is filled with cards and birth announcements from his loyal fans.

"Coming here is like being among friends and not just a restaurant," said customer Jason Smith.

"If you can make people happy, why not do it?" Kong Ko said.

But he's not just a good man, he's a great chef who serves up authentic Chinese food.

"I was here last week four days out of the week," said customer Sandra Bryant. "I was here Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday."

Stir-fried green beans, shrimp fu yung and spicy kung pao chicken are among his customers' favorites.

"The more you eat here, the more you like it," Ko said.

"It's the best Chinese food in Atlanta," Smith said. "Everything's fresh, nothing comes out of a can. The food here is really magical"

Little Szechuan has been awarded one of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the country for the past six years.
