
MORROW, Ga. -- Flames consumed a Clayton County church early Sunday Morning.
Calvary Baptist Church in Morrow is no longer standing, as a two-alarm blaze went through the roof and destroyed the building.
The 911 center received a call around 3:45 a.m. from the alarm company alerting them to the damage. Approximately fifty firefighters worked to extinguish the fire.
It took almost an hour to bring the flames under control.
Investigators are working to determine the cause.
The congregation worshiped in the parking lot at 11 a.m. Sunday despite the fire.
