7 Families Displaced By Dekalb Apartment Fire

DECATUR - An early Friday morning fire at the "Orchard Walk Apartments" on Flatshoals Parkway forced seven families out into the chilly night.

Firefighters worked for more than an hour to control the stubborn fire which was located in the walls between apartment units and in the attic.

Two apartments have fire damage and several others have smoke and water damage.

No one was injured. Investigators will be looking for the cause.
