PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (11ALIVE) -- NCR officially opened the doors of it's Peachtree City services center Monday. It is the second facility to open in Georgia since the Fortune 500 company's June announcement that it would move its world headquarters to the state by the end of 2010.
All totaled, NCR is expected to bring about 3,000 jobs to the state of Georgia. Those jobs will be spread between three facilities: it's future world headquarters in Duluth, a manufacturing plant in Columbus and a services center in Peachtree City.
NCR manufactures ATMs and self-service kiosks commonly found in retail stores.
The Peachtree City office will host NCR's parts headquarters, customer service and a training center. The new facility is expected to create about 900 jobs.
"Its November and what we started in June, to think that we're here today with three facilities up and running is just fantastic and it is certainly a testament to the partnership you can do with the city, the county and state officials," NCR Executive Vice President John Bruno said during a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday.
A quick look at the careers section of NCR's website shows over 200 job listings in the state of Georgia.
