Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - Bryan Little scored the go-ahead goal midway through the second period, and the Winnipeg Jets hung on to defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs, 2-1, on Tuesday.

Chris Thorburn also lit the lamp for the Jets, who snapped their two-game losing skid. Ondrej Pavelec stopped 17 shots in the win.

Phil Kessel tallied in his third consecutive game for Toronto, which has gone 16 straight games without allowing a power-play goal, the longest such streak in the league since the Chicago Blackhawks went 19 consecutive games without surrendering a power-play tally in 1969-70.

Jonas Gustavsson stopped 27-of-29 shots for the Leafs, who had their three- game winning streak snapped.
