Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - Bryan Little scored the go-ahead goal midway
through the second period, and the Winnipeg Jets hung on to defeat the Toronto
Maple Leafs, 2-1, on Tuesday.
Chris Thorburn also lit the lamp for the Jets, who snapped their two-game
losing skid. Ondrej Pavelec stopped 17 shots in the win.
Phil Kessel tallied in his third consecutive game for Toronto, which has gone
16 straight games without allowing a power-play goal, the longest such streak
in the league since the Chicago Blackhawks went 19 consecutive games without
surrendering a power-play tally in 1969-70.
Jonas Gustavsson stopped 27-of-29 shots for the Leafs, who had their three-
game winning streak snapped.
