Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Matt Wieters clubbed a game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning Sunday as the Orioles downed the Phillies, 5-4, to wrap up a three-game set at Camden Yards.
With the game knotted at 4-4, Adam Jones reached first on an error from Philadelphia third baseman Ty Wigginton and came around to score when Wieters lifted a fastball from Joe Savery (0-1) off the wall in right field.
Darren O'Day (4-0) got the win after firing a scoreless top of the 10th. Steve Tolleson crushed a three-run shot to tie the game in fourth while Ronny Paulino plated a run for the O's, who have won their last nine extra inning games.
Philadelphia starter Cliff Lee remains winless on the season after giving up four runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts over six frames. Hunter Pence knocked in two runs and Juan Pierre scored twice, but the Phillies lost for the eighth time in their last nine tries.
