SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- The Shiloh football program will be forced to vacate both of their wins from the 2011 season. The Georgia High School Association ruled that three ineligible players had been used by Shiloh during the 2011 season. GHSA Executive Director Dr. Ralph Swearngin informed the school in a letter in May. The Generals record was 2-8 last year.
The GHSA's ruling comes after head coach Brian Montgomery's sudden departure back in April, when it was revealed that four players followed Montgomery from North Atlanta to play for him at Shiloh.
Former North Gwinnett Assistant Troy Hobbs was named the new Shiloh football coach in May. The Generals will not face probation or a fine during the coming school year.
