SPOILER ALERT -- Metro Atlanta native Dee Dee Trotter was part of the U.S. women's 4x400m relay team. How did the team do in the preliminary? Read on to find out!
LONDON -- The Americans are in good standing going in to the women's 4x400m relay at the London Olympics Friday.
The team placed first overall in the qualifying rounds with a time of 3.22.09.
The members of the U.S. 4x400m relay team include Keshia Baker (1st leg), Francena McCorory (2nd leg), Diamond Dixon (3rd leg) and metro Atlanta's own Dee Dee Trotter (4th leg).
Trotter already won one medal in London; she took home the bronze in the women's 400m.
