Sabathia headed to DL with elbow issue

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia will head to the disabled list with inflammation in his pitching elbow.

Yankees manager Joe Girardi made the announcement following Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jays.
