The 300-plus pound defensive lineman hit Murray helmet to helmet during the second quarter of Saturday's game at the Georgia Dome.
The University of Georgia asked the Southeastern Conference to look into the hit, but the league was already on it.
The SEC coordinator of officials reviewed the play and determined that Saturday's crew missed the call.
