"Anybody that wants to come in and see the game, we welcome them. We'd love them to be here and have a big party with us," said Mark Barton, Director of Sales & Marketing for the Marriott Marquis.
POLL | How far do you think the Falcons will go?
Start with the Hotel's signature lobby television set that measures 10 feet by 12 feet.
"We actually have six 80" TV's in the Hotel, where people can see the game, as well as a whole range of 23 different TV's around the bar, including 42" sets where they can see the game. All of the sets will have the game on them," Barton added.
Along with the big screens, Marriott will offer special deals on food and beverages.
But many fans just want to stay at home, putting the spotlight on dozens of Metro Atlanta caterers and fast food chains like Pizza Hut, Dominos and Subway, and popular restaurants like D.B.A. Barbecue in Virginia Highland, where big crowds are expected on the inside, and where Wings and Ribs fly out the door to homes all over the Metro.
When it comes to home catering on game day; "We've sold about 3,000 wings, 100 racks of ribs and 50 platters and there is no telling what this Sunday is going to bring," said Laura Reed of D.B.A.
With the national spotlight on this game, expect far more eyes around home TV's with caterers gearing up for bigger orders then they've seen all season and expect restaurants, bars and hotels with big screen TV's to be packed.
