Anaheim, CA (Sports Network) - Cory Schneider stopped all 30 shots he faced to
earn his fifth career shutout, as the Vancouver Canucks blanked the Anaheim
Ducks, 5-0, on Friday at Honda Center.
Mason Raymond scored twice, Daniel Sedin added a goal and an assist, and Aaron
Volpatti and Zack Kassian registered a goal apiece for the Canucks, who
avenged a 7-3 season-opening loss to the Ducks in Vancouver.
Jonas Hiller was charged for all five goals on 34 shots in the setback,
Anaheim's first of the season.
