ATLANTA -- It's 30 weeks from the start of the 2013 NFL season, and Thursday, the League released the home and away opponents for each of the teams for the upcoming season.
The Atlanta Falcons get to play home-and-home games with each of the other teams in the NFC South, as is customary, plus they get games against teams from the AFC East and the NFC West over the course of the season.
Home games next season will be played against: Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Washington Redskins.
Away games for the Falcons will include: Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers.
After what some called an easy schedule for the Falcons this season, experts should note games against perennial powerhouses Green Bay and New England. Also, the Falcons will face both of their playoff opponents from this past season -- Seattle and San Francisco.
The final season schedule for 2013 won't be announced until April.
