Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated
infielder Chris Nelson from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday's game
against the Oakland Athletics.
Nelson was placed on the DL on Aug. 29 with a strained right hamstring.
The former Colorado first-round pick has hit .220 with three home runs and 18
RBI in 33 games since being claimed off waivers by the Angels from the New
York Yankees in May.
For the season, Nelson is batting .227 with three homers and 20 RBI in 43
games with three different teams -- the Angels, Yankees and Rockies.
