SOCHI, RUSSIA - It may be the shortest relationship you ever have.
It's one that begins with promise, grows in intensity, sometimes ends with rejection but if you're lucky...you both leave happy.
Anna Auman and her dad Frank got into pin trading so much..they are now pin ambassadors for Coca Cola.
"We actually teach people how to trade pins at the Olympic Games," Anna said.
That's right swapping pins is a skill...devotees would say an art.
The Aumans and other pin ambassadors bring their own pins to trade.
"People get to meet each other from all over the world and have a conversation and feel connected to each other."
At noon sharp, Coca Cola announces their pin of the day...another tiny link that will enter the trading fray, creating a connection, a compressed relationship that that will have highs and lows and hopefully a happy ending.
