Harrisonburg, VA (Sports Network) - James Madison University will seek a 10th
straight winning season during its 11-game schedule in 2013.
The Dukes will play six home games at Bridgeforth Stadium against Central
Connecticut State (Aug. 31) and Saint Francis, Pa. (Sept. 14) from the
Northeast Conference, and Albany (Oct. 5), Richmond (Oct. 12), Villanova (Nov.
2, Homecoming) and Stony Brook (Nov. 16) in CAA Football action.
James Madison will visit FBS member Akron for the first time on Sept. 7. The
Dukes also have road games at Delaware (Sept. 28), William & Mary (Oct. 26),
New Hampshire (Nov. 9) and Towson (Nov. 23).
"We are looking forward to the 2013 season with the addition of the two new
CAA teams, Albany and Stony Brook, both of which will be coming to
Harrisonburg for the first time," head coach Mickey Matthews said. "It will
once again be a challenging schedule for all."
James Madison had a 7-4 record, including 5-3 in the CAA, this season.
