Boise, ID (Sports Network) - Anthony Drmic recorded a game-high 26 points as
the Boise State Broncos cruised past the Nevada Wolf Pack, 73-47, in Mountain
West Conference play at Taco Bell Arena.
Ryan Watkins tallied 14 points and eight rebounds for the Broncos (19-8, 7-6
MWC). Derrick Marks scored just six points but had eight assists, seven
rebounds, four steals and two blocks for Boise State, which has won three in a
row.
For the Wolf Pack (12-15, 3-10), Deonte Burton contributed 13 points, but he
was the only player in double figures as they extended their losing streak to
four games.
In the first half, Nevada was held to a mere 6-of-20 from the floor. Boise
State connected on 14-of-31 from the field, as it took a 35-20 advantage at
the break.
The Broncos continued their impressive field goal shooting after the break,
going 14-of-26, and their lead was never in doubt down the stretch.
Boise State dominated the boards, 37-21, and points in the paint, 36-12.
