Bozeman, MT (Sports Network) - A Texas pipeline continues to flow to the
Montana State football team.
Former University of Texas defensive back Eryon Barnett is transferring to the
Bobcats program, joining former Trinity High School teammates DeNarius McGhee,
Tray Robinson and Na'a Moeakiola from Euless, Texas, the Bozeman Daily
Chronicle reported.
Barnett, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, was plagued by a knee injury at Texas, causing
him to miss last season and much of the 2009 season. He played in seven games,
mostly on special teams, as a redshirt freshman in 2010. He will have two
seasons of eligibility remaining at Montana State.
The Daily Chronicle also reported that coach Rob Ash's Bobcats will be adding
transfer Charles Lee, an offensive lineman from Fullerton College. The Menifee,
Calif., resident, who is 6-4, 315 pounds, will have two seasons of eligibility
remaining.
