Could UGA be giving a clue on Sony Michel's status?

Saturday the Georgia Bulldogs will face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.

UPDATED: Brendan Douglas entered the game as the Bulldog's second running back.

At one point this offseason, there was a slight chance the Georgia Bulldogs would be without running backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel due to injuries.

Chubb has been cleared to play and won't be limited in any way. Now, there's a chance Michel will also be on the field Saturday against North Carolina at the Georgia Dome.

Georgia's equipment Twitter account posted a picture of the jerseys and pads set up in the Bulldogs' locker room.

Chubb's jersey is right in the front, but next to it is the No. 1 jersey of Sony Michel.

There was confusion this week whether or not Michel had been cleared to play. 11Alive's UGA Insider Radi Nabulsi heard different things regarding Michel's status from his sources.

Michel has been recovering from a broken arm he suffered while riding an ATV.

But this is a good sign that Michel could be on the sideline, dressed and ready to go.
