UGA gets a commitment from Atlanta offensive lineman

ATHENS, Ga. -- June continues to be a good month for the Georgia Bulldogs coaching staff. Offensive lineman Sage Hardin just announced he plans to attend Georgia, giving the staff its fifth commitment of the month.

"I have officially decided that I will be committing to the University of Georgia" Hardin tweeted at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Hardin is a three-star offensive tackle from the Marist School in Atlanta. With 13 offers from the likes of Tennessee, N.C. State and even Yale, the quick-footed multi-sport athlete had his choice of schools all across the country. He grew up a fan of Georgia Tech but the offer from Mark Richt was too hard to turn down.

On June 14, Hardin

where he was put through drills and numerous one-on-one battles with defensive linemen. Two days after that camp, the Georgia coaches offered Hardin a scholarship, complimenting him on his tenacity in the drills.

Hardin measured in at just shy of 6-foot-7 and weighed in at 266 pounds while in Athens.
