ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Braves have announced that they will not offer right-handed pitchers Jair Jurrjens and Peter Moylan contracts for the 2013 year.
According to a release, the Braves have six unsigned, arbitration-eligible players on their 40-man roster for upcoming season.
The players eligible, include: right-handed pitchers Cristhian Martinez and Kris Medlen, left-handed pitchers Eric O'Flaherty and Jonny Venters, infielder/outfielder Martin Prado and outfielder Jason Heyward.
In August, the Braves demoted Jurrjens to the minor leagues after a series of injuries hindered his performance during the 2012 season.
