Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders and safety Tyvon Branch
have reportedly agreed to a multi-year deal.
The Oakland Tribune is reporting that the contract is for four years and has
$17.1 million in guaranteed money.
Branch was given the franchise tag by the team and the Raiders had until
Monday to sign him, or he would have played under the $6.2 million free agent
tender he had already signed.
Branch, 25, has started all 48 games for the Raiders the past three seasons
and had a team-high 109 tackles, one sack and one interception this past
season.
