San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers released injured
kicker Nate Kaeding on Tuesday.
Kaeding appeared in San Diego's first three games this season, connecting on
all seven of his field goal attempts and six extra points, but then suffered a
groin injury and was placed on injured reserve last week.
The two-time Pro Bowler has spent his entire nine-year career with the
Chargers after the team drafted him in the third round of the 2004 draft.
He has made 180-of-207 career field goal attempts and 349-of-351 extra points.
