Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Paul Martin scored the tie-breaking goal with
2:04 left to play as the Pittsburgh Penguins continued their recent success by
rallying for a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center.
Pascal Dupuis netted a pair of goals, including the game-tying tally earlier
in the third period, while assisting on Martin's clincher, and Sidney Crosby
registered a goal and two assists to help the Penguins improve to 8-2-0 on the
road this season and post their third consecutive win overall.
Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 30 saves in Pittsburgh's triumph.
Thomas Vanek had a goal and an assist for Buffalo, which overcame a horrific
start to the contest to take a 3-2 lead on Steve Ott's marker 5:17 into the
final period. Christian Ehrhoff delivered a pair of assists in the setback,
the Sabres' third in four games, with Ryan Miller stopping 31 shots on the
afternoon.
