St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - Tim Kennedy produced the game-winning score
late in the third period, as the San Jose Sharks ended a seven-game losing
streak with a 2-1 decision over the St. Louis Blues at Scottrade Center.
Joe Thornton also scored and Antti Niemi came up with 25 saves for the Sharks,
who hadn't won since Jan. 31, capping a streak of seven consecutive wins from
the start of the season.
Patrik Berglund provided the sole offense for the Blues, whose three-game win
streak came to an end. Jake Allen played well in defeat, stopping 23 shots.
